The Pilgrim's Tale

The idea to write this piece was inspired by William Chaucer's epic story. The music sets out to depict a journey of awareness. The opening harmonics represent the hand bells pilgrims often used whilst on their journey. The theme travels through a series of extensions and variation with the bells reiterating the progress of their gradual progression.
