MUzicas Editions - Sheet Music for Classical Guitar
MÚzicas Editions is a publisher of printed sheet music for classical guitar and more. It was created in April 2005 by composer Paul Coles. Initially the company was conceived in order to publish his recent guitar compositions which are due to be recorded by the international guitarist Craig Ogden and released on the Nimbus Records label later this year.
Although MÚzicas Editions has begun life specialising in music for the classical guitar its aim is to publish music of a high standard for most instruments, both solo and ensemble. Since 2000 Paul Coles has had several major orchestral works performed including a broadcast on BBC Radio 2 by the BBC Concert Orchestra and has received commissions to write for several occasions including his composition ‘Fanfare for a Royal Occasion’ commissioned by the Dorset Chamber Orchestra to commemorate ‘The Queen’s Golden Jubilee’ Celebrations. Enquiries regarding commissions are welcome. Eventually MÚE will be able to offer orchestral sheet music both for sale and for hire.
Our aim is to provide attractive contemporary pieces that are technically interesting but accessible for most players to enjoy and perform. The Web site will whenever possible provide examples of the sheet music with a selection of free audio downloads to help prospective musicians in their choice from our expanding catalogue of publications.
Pay by credit card or simply print out your order and either telephone, fax, or send the order in the post with a cheque. Music is dispatched using one of a range of postal services either urgently (if required), otherwise as economically as possible.
